Searches on the Glacier

Today, a six-man team undertook a series of new searches on the Estellette Glacier. The team was let by the geologist Gianni Boschis accompanied by Franco Bonetto (responsible for mapping the GPS coordinates of all finds), Erik Gillo (responsible for filming the expedition), Renato and Alberto, two enthusiasts and expert climbers, and Enrico Martinét, journalist of the Italian newspaper “La Stampa”.
Making best use of the favourable weater conditions, the team reached an altitude of 2700 metres, collecting and documenting the numerous artifacts they found, These include a cylinder from an engine, part of a parachute and a glove.
